You will bump up to 11.5 psi (which I don't think anyone here would recommend).

Actually, it will speed it up a little (just like the supercharger). Same with your a/c. Can't say I've noticed anything different though (a/c might be colder?? smile )

If your boost pressures are high on the 6psi pulley, it's possible somewhere along the intake/header/exhaust you have too much flow restriction.

Of course, it's also possible it's just a "normal" manufacturing anomaly of your particular JRSC.

OTOH, if that restrictive flow is the reason your boost pressure is high, getting rid of the restriction (wherever it might be) will lower your boost, and should actually increase power. (when it's tuned)

hmm, well maybe not on the intake part of it.

I'm not sure how a restrictive air box front of the blower affects boost, other than making it work harder, but perhaps not create as much pressure aft really.

Does anyone have a specific part number or the correct belt lengths that were used to fit the new CRV Crank Pulley? Also, how did it affect your fuel pressure and timing? What did you do. Are you using a MSD BTM or any igntion retarding? Did anyone have to go to larger injectors. I think the stock GSR injectors are 240cc. Thanks. I just love this board.

    Eric...
I have the CRV pulleys in stock. We need to talk seriously about your tuning. Call me at the shop.

    VtecRacer-

Before ringer added his SC I posted the belt lengths on TOO's board (search for CRV crank pulley). The AC belt will be the same w/ the SC, but I don't remember the size of the new alternator belt. It is 2 inches longer than the one that comes with the JR kit smile

    Reddelsol:

My set up has a stock air box (B16A). With the stock filter, I was boosting about 7-7.5 psi. Probably due to exhaust restrictions?

Anyway, I changed to a foam type filter and I'm boosting about 8psi now.

    Just my $.02
